What is Archer Edge @ DePaul?

Archer Edge @ DePaul is a 10-week summer fellowship designed to support rising sophomores to build essential career skills, confidence, and professional networks.

Through a combination of:

  • Microlearning (stress management, time management, financial literacy, career readiness)

  • An agentic AI internship coach

  • Real-world client projects

  • Peer collaboration and mentorship

Students gain hands-on experience that prepares them for internships and future careers.

The program is intentionally inclusive, flexible, and high-impact, ensuring every participant has access to meaningful professional development.

For the student interns, called Edge Fellows, this is not unpaid, there is a stipend for the program.

What is your role as a Mentor at Archer Edge @ DePaul

The Archer Edge Fellows @ DePaul program connects undergraduate students with professionals who are willing to share their experiences, career insights, and encouragement during one of the most important stages of a student’s professional journey — their first internship experience.

As a mentor, you are not expected to share your perspective, and help students build confidence as they navigate professional growth, teamwork, communication, and career exploration.

Many students entering this program are navigating their first professional experience, and even a few conversations with someone in the field can make a lasting impact on their confidence, motivation, and future career direction.
